Benue Journal of Medicine (BJM) is a publication of the Benue State Branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA). The journal is established to promote and deepen research in both medical and allied health sciences among scientists and researchers in Nigeria, and indeed Africa and the world at large. It is also established to help young researchers find a veritable platform to lean on as they try to perfect the art and rudiments of research and publications so as to contribute meaningfully to the present scientific world.
BJM aims to receive process and publish high-quality scientific papers from across Africa and the globe that are products of cutting-edge scientific and technological advancements in all the fields of medicine. The journal aims at finding solutions to the contemporary medical and health challenges confronting the world by encouraging relevant research in disease prevention and also improved management and therapeutic protocols. And by so doing, position the journal as a viable player in contributing to the existing body of scientific knowledge and also a credible reference tool to be sought out by the academic community and researchers.
This is an academic journal, open access, and will publish comprehensive and well-researched works such as Research articles, Review articles, Short communications, Case reports, Letters to Editor, and Methodologies. Publications from Benue Journal of Medicine shall be made available to the reading community world over freely without any restriction to access.
